A resident engineer represents our client, he is taken as an employee of the company. A resident engineer can quickly solve problem on the vendor side and eliminate or minimize the risk of damaging their reputation.
The resident engineer is primarily responsible for quickly responding to the problem, verifying and analyzing the defect, immediately cotacting the supplier to obtain detailed informations (photos, took samples, etc.) manage temporary action to minimize or completely remove problem. Regular visit to the company, attending regular meetings, maintaint good relationships with business engineers.
